Oprah To Repeat Show on Bio-Identicals Thursday
If you missed Oprah’s show on hormone therapy last week, be sure to tune in Thursday for a repeat performance. Dr. Christiane Northrup did an excellent job explaining the role that hormones play in our body’s “control center” and what happens when they get out of whack (menopause). See my blog post below for a full review.
I am 62 years of age and still taking a Estrogen
Called Odgen 1.25 Estropipate.
Is this healthy for me and what I should be taking
Thank you Wendy, I did contact Body Logic MD in Manchester, CT.
(from Oprah show on Menopause) I have an appt. in March and will be getting the blood & saliva kit in the mail in a few days.
But thank you for the information you provided.
Karen
Hi Karen – why don’t you contact the physicians at http://www.womentowomen.com. They’re in Maine and do phone consultations. They might be able to refer you someone closer to home. Another idea is to contact the pharmacists at The Women’s International Pharmacy (www.womensinternational.com). They are a major compounding company and have been in business for over two decades, so they might be able to give you the names of physicians in your area who they have filled prescriptions for. Good luck!
I would like to find a doctor in my area that does the Bio-Identical s.
I live in New Hampshire and can’t seem to find anything when I do a
search on the web.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
I can’t wait to see Dr. Northrup again (love her!!!) but am curious, too, about what Robin McGraw has to say. I didn’t know she was involved in the HRT debates. And, if anyone wants some homework before tomorrow’s show, here’s one of the best articles I’ve yet to read — plain spoken — about HRT and its risks: Perspectives on the Risks of HRT
