What a nice post! Menopause doesn't seem so scary to me after your blog...seriously. Very nice, classy and I really appreciate the amount of background research you obviously do. Thanks for thinking of me and let's stay in touch.

I'm kinda new to this WONDERFUL community of midlife bloggers. It seems I've been blogging to myself for a while - so I'm so pleased to find a glog (okay, I made up that word) of bloggers. I've been visiting many of your sites and enjoying your insights, wit and compassion. Please come and share your 2 cents at: http://www.maggiecrane.com/blog/. I'm just getting the hang of all of this online communication and could use your help up this hill!

Wendy,
Love your post because I don't have all the cards from the wonderful women we met at the Boomer Birds of a Feather gathering. Really want to keep up with all who were there - we need to form an on-line group - perhaps within Blog Her?

Pleased that you like the Purse Stories website - it grew from a collaboration with a dance group here in Houston that used purses as a metaphor for women's interior space. When women began to tell me about special purses in their lives, a website seemed the way to get those stories out. Anyone can log on and leave content.

Loved meeting boomer bloggers. Loved the conference. Let's keep in touch.

Dang. I'd intended to go to that Birds of a Feather, but something came up.

I wish I'd taken the chance to meet you. I mostly lurk, but I love the info you give here.
