I was taking BHRT titrated to my blood levels for several years. I did sleep well on them and it kept my flashes at bay.I did not feel as vigorous and sexual as some have reported. I was concerned after Suzanne Somers reported she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was using BHRT. I had thought the cancer developed before the BHRT but NO, she acquired it while on the hormones. She continues to take the BHRT, which I think is crazy. This convinced me to go off of them. I still have sleep issues but I use Melatonin. I am just too apprehensive taking BHRT and the possiiblility of cancer to continue this course of treatment.
